Social Media How-to for the Baffled, Confused, and Time-starved….

This website is created to become your “one-stop shop” in the social media arena.  Think of it as a convenience store… I provide all the things you probably need and want (even if you don’t know you need and want them yet!) into one place to make it handy for you to find, read, and use!

I’m sharing information from the people I follow and trust – some you will have heard about, some will be new to you.  I’m bringing this together in a way that shares my viewpoint, when applicable, along with links to the original source.

In other words, instead of trying to search all over the internet to find, read, and implement strategies from people who are already wildly successful, it will all be right here!

This site will regularly include information on using social media effectively and efficiently, social networks, the power of social media when used correctly, current social media trends, and specific how-to tips to attract the people who want, need, and are willing to buy what you offer!

Who am I and why would I do this?

Hi! I’m Sue Henry. I’m a speaker and writer by profession. In my “other life”, my husband and I are organic dairy farmers. I’m a gramma of 3 adorable preschoolers.And I’m considered an expert in networking strategies.

I learned social media the hard way – on dial-up! I knew that I had a choice – learning how to effectively market my business through social media OR I could learn how to milk cows.  Hmmm, not a hard decision!  I jumped in went through the painful learning curve of figuring out how to monetize social media for my speaking business.

Within a short few months, after much tracking and tweaking,  I landed my first speaking contract from someone I’d built a relationship with online. I had developed a “15-minute a day” system that I worked well with my crazy travel schedule and continued to get results…  This system helped me build relationships with the target market I was attracting, strengthen previous relationships, land paid speaking gigs and writing jobs, & sell products I had developed.

I continue to read (I’m a speed reader) and sift through all the information that comes out – some is great and relevant, some is not applicable for my business, some is fluff, and some is just plain crap. I take the great and good, figure out how I can weave it into my already-proven 15-minute-a-day system, and apply it to grow my own business.

Since I’m already reading and disseminating all this info anyway, I thought that maybe others would be interested in my ideas as well!   You can easily sign up and have the latest info delivered directly to your inbox! It just doesn’t get much easier!
